I created this site because my regular URL (nirak.net) is being used more and more for professional library related stuff, and as I will be job searching before too long, I wanted to limit the personal stuff I put there. However, I miss posting about everyday things that might only be of interest to a few people- so I created another wordpress blog. I couldn’t figure out a name for the new blog, but when I was checking URLs one day and discovered os-agnostic was open (all the iterations, weird!) I had to grab it.

I’ve been calling myself an operating system agnostic for a while now- truth is, I think all operating systems have something to offer. Rather than stick to one, I try out a lot of operating systems, software, etc. I believe in the power of open source, but I don’t believe it have to be the ONLY answer. Basically, I think competition is a good thing. As more and more stuff moves online it will be less important what your operating system is anyway. Yay for cross platform applications!

You can expect to find explorations into geeky stuff here, my artwork, random musings about cooking, what I am reading, what games I am playing, etc.
